The mountains of the Pyrenees are provocative and mysterious. Under the sometimes snow-covered peaks, you will find shivering waterfalls, ice-cold mountain lakes and a fauna which becomes very rare, as the ibex and the chamois, and all sorts of birds of prey. Underneath you will encounter mountain meadows, where you will find especially at the end of the spring a sea of typical flora and flowers.

You can admire the impressive rocky mountain faces ... at car distance!

Sports practice

Amateurs of sports can practice rowing, rafting, golf, fishing, paragliding, walking, cycling, 

swimming and even skiing (at 32 km)…

After waking up, you can make a nice walk in the fields without being disturbed.  

The mountain walks are on the program. Detailed walks are available at the reception.

The cyclist can measure his strength in the Pyrenees. 

The ground is very convenient for cyclists because of its gradients. 

One-day hikes or a visit of the nearest villages are possible options.

A golf course of 40 ha with 18 holes is situated at Lannemezan at the top of the  

Pyrenees, at 10 km of Bonrepos.

   You can also hike with a horse or with a carriage.  

You can fish at the lake of Puydarrieux : perch, pike, carp, …

You can make lovely walks around the lake. The walks are marked out and you can also book to observe birds.

Curiosities

The amateurs of culture will find a region with a captivating history, 

and which remained visible in countless monuments.

Towns as Tarbes, Cauterets, Mauvezin, Lourdes, Saint Bertrand de Comminges and Saint Sever-de –Rustan … merit a visit.

Among the various daytrips, you have the beautiful caves (Gouffre d’Esparros), an abbey or a castle (Castle of Valmirande / from 1 July to 15 August).

     You will find all these daytrips at the reception.

People who like the atmosphere of the local markets can invest their energies in Lannemezan, Boulogne-sur-Gesse, Castelau-Magnoac, La Barthe-de-Neste …

These local markets are moreover oftens « down of the attic » where you can look for small authenticable objects.
